Lauster joined W.M. Jordan in 1997 and became its president in 2018. He has managed notable projects such as the Ferguson Center for the Arts at Christopher Newport University and the restoration of the historic Cavalier Hotel in Virginia Beach. An Old Dominion University alumnus, Lauster also graduated Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.
In March, W.M. Jordan broke ground on Atlantic Park, a surf park in Virginia Beach being developed by music superstar Pharrell Williams and Virginia Beach-based Venture Realty Group. Featuring a 2.67-acre wave lagoon, the nearly 11-acre mixed-use development will include 120,000 square feet of retail space and a 70,400-square-foot, three-level entertainment venue.
W.M. Jordan, which opened an office in Raleigh, North Carolina, last year, earned more than $500 million in revenue in fiscal 2022.
Lauster serves on boards for Bon Secours Hampton Roads Foundation, the Hampton Roads Chamber, the Virginia Chamber of Commerce and Greater Peninsula Now.
