The Free Lance-Star in Fredericksburg reports that the Silver Cos. has sold a Class A, 135,732-square-foot office building in the Quantico Corporate Center for $40 million.
According to the newspaper’s story, the buyer was JMC Holdings LLC, a private real estate company based in New York that’s looking to expand its portfolio outside of that state.
The office, built in 2012, is the home of the Stafford Technology and Research Center, an initiative involving several local universities and a community college.
The Quantico Corporate Center is located next to the Marine Corps Base Quantico in Stafford County, just off Interstate 95 and U.S. Route 1.
