Publisher Bernard A. Niemeier is now the sole owner of Virginia Business.
Virginia Capital Partners, a Richmond-based private equity firm, had been Niemeier’s equity partner in the magazine since it was acquired in September 2009 from Media General Inc.
Niemeier, who has been publisher since 2007, purchased all of the outstanding ownership rights from Virginia Capital Partners in a deal that closed on Friday. Financial details were not disclosed.
He was assisted in the transaction by the Gentry Locke and Virginia Community Capital.
