Eubanks was appointed president and CEO of The Brink’s Co. in May, after Doug Pertz, who had held the positions since 2016, transitioned to executive chairman of the board. Eubanks previously had been executive vice president and chief operating officer for the security company.
Known for its armored trucks transporting cash and other valuables, Brink’s serves customers in 100 countries, employing more than 62,000 people. Eubanks joined Brink’s in September 2021, after previously serving as Otis Worldwide Corp.’s president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa operations.
In April 2021, Brink’s bought PAI Inc., the country’s largest privately held ATM company, for $213 million, an expansion that is part of its diversification plan. With the purchase, Brink’s now has more than 100,000 ATMs in the U.S.
“Mark has a robust track record of execution at large, complex international businesses and brings broad qualifications as a strong leader,” Pertz said in an announcement of Eubanks’ promotion. “I’ve worked side by side with him over the past seven months, and he has clearly demonstrated his leadership in driving operational excellence and his commitment to execution of our transformational digital strategies.”
