Petco has opened its first Suffolk store in the Hampton Roads Crossing development.

The 12,500-square-foot store is located at 1011 University Boulevard in the city’s Harbour View area.

San Diego-based Petco is a major pet specialty retailer. It has more than 1,400 locations in the U.S. and Mexico.

Hampton Roads Crossing is a 40-acre, mixed-use retail center.
