Performance Food Group announced that Jim Spatola and Jeff Williamson have both been promoted to new senior vice president positions in the company.
Spatola has been named senior vice president of procurement, and Williamson has been named senior vice president of operations.
Spatola will oversee procurement for PFG. He joined Vistar Corp, a current division and predecessor company of PFG, in 2005 as President and CEO of Vistar’s Roma business in Hartford, Conn. He was promoted in 2008 to senior vice president of procurement for Performance Foodservice, a division of PFG. He spent must of his career at ARAMARK, holding many positions, including vice president for distribution for North America.
Williamson will oversee PFG’s facilities, construction, inbound logistics, outbound transportation and warehouse functions.
Williamson joined PFG in 2003 as director of warehouse methods and industrial engineering. Most recently he was senior vice president of operations for Performance Foodservice.
Prior to joining PFG, Williamson served as senior manager, distribution systems and process for US Foods from 1996 to 2003.
