Hilliard is a former chamber board member who has been employed by the organization for nearly four years, most recently as director of operations and events and tourism marketing. Uwe Weindel resigned as engineer-director for the Frederick County Sanitation Authority in September. The reasons for his departure were unclear. The authority is searching for a replacement. (The Winchester Star)
