Falls Church-based defense and government services contractor Pacific Architects and Engineers (PAE) announced last week it has named Cristal Rice as the vice president of its readiness and sustainment group.
Rice comes from The Boeing Co., where she had worked since 2013. She was most recently the subdivision leader and senior program manager for U.S. Air Force sustainment programs at Boeing in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
“Cristal has a demonstrated track record for leading high-performing teams and standing up new business development organizations,” PAE President and CEO John Heller said in a statement. “Her leadership will be key to expanding our aviation support offerings and growing our Global Mission Services business.”
Rice’s career has been focused on business development efforts with specialized aircraft, missiles and fleet readiness, working for Boeing, Raytheon, Chromalloy Component Services, Rolls-Royce Aero Engine Controls and Pratt & Whitney. She earned her bachelor’s degree in economics and her master’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
PAE provides mission support services to government clients. The company employs more than 20,000 across its operations in 60 countries and reported more than $2.7 billion in revenue last year.
