Owens & Minor names chief commercial officer

Richmond-based Owens & Minor Inc. has named W. Marshall Simpson as executive vice president and chief commercial officer. The appointment will become effective on Oct. 4.

Simpson was most recently CEO of Dominions Medical, a consulting firm. Previously, he served for 20 years at Owens & Minor. He was senior vice president of sales, operations and marketing from 2007 to 2011.
