The board of directors of Hampton-based Old Point National Bank has named Robert F. Shuford Jr. its president and CEO.
Shuford, who has served as the bank’s senior executive vice president and chief operating officer, succeeds Louis G. Morris, who will retire at the end of this year.
A subsidiary of Old Point Financial Corp., Old Point National Bank has branches throughout Hampton Roads.
Old Point had assets of $893.5 million at the end of the second quarter. It recorded a profit of $2.5 million during the quarter.
