Noelker and Hull Associates , a Chambersburg, Pa.-based architecture, interior design, and master planning firm, has opened a third office in Richmond in the historic Buggy Factory bulding.
This firm said the expansion extends its geographic reach across the Mid-Atlantic and the I-81 corridor from Virginia to Pennsylvania. It also has an office in Frederick, Md.
The Richmond office is located at 1421 Lombardy Alley and opened on December 2. Co-located with Sustainable Design Consulting (SDC) in the Buggy Factory, the building features several environmentally-friendly design strategies.
Managed by Bruce Brooks, the office's initial efforts include continuing service for existing healthcare clients with several ongoing projects. Additionally, firm-wide marketing and public relations efforts will be managed from Richmond in collaboration with the headquarters marketing team.
“Our Richmond office will enable us to better serve existing clients and strategically establish new relationships,” Stuart E. Christensen, a company principal, said in a statement. “This is a real opportunity to support our firm’s steady growth and increase our market share across several markets.”
The firm primiary serves the long-term care, health care, higher education, K-12, commercial, institutional, religious and hospitality markets.
Recent projects completed by Noelker and Hull include the Culinary Institute of America Student Recreation Center, Glatfelter Hall at Gettysburg College and the Penn State Hershey Colonnade Medical Office Building.
