Lauren Campbell promoted at ITA International

Newport News-based federal contractor and professional services company ITA International has promoted Lauren Campbell to director of innovative solutions, effective Aug. 20.
Joining the company in 2017, Campbell previously served as program manager of small business innovation research (SBIR) where she oversaw SBIR technology. In her new role will report directly to ITA International CEO Mike Melo.
“Lauren is a hardworking and results oriented leader. Her superior operational support, government contracting experience and SBIR program expertise will enable ITA to aid customer acquisition of decision support tools,” Melo said in a statement. “We are looking forward to what she will accomplish in her new role.”
Before her time with ITA International, she served on the U.S. Navy contracting team for the supervisor for shipbuilding, where she focused on contract awards, quality control and public relations.
ITA International provides analysis, planning, training, exercise, intelligence, cyber, logistics, engineering and marine services. The company announced Tuesday that it had acquired Vienna-based management consulting firm Innovative Decisions Inc.
