CBRE has been retained to represent StoneSprings Hospital Center’s medical office building, a 60,000-square-foot building under construction in Dulles. When completed in July 2015, the property owned by Hospital Corp. of America Inc. (HCA) will be attached to the new StoneSprings Hospital Center. It’s expected to open in December 2015.
“With its adjacency to the new hospital, this asset provides a unique opportunity for health care providers to serve an expanding patient base in Loudoun County,” Dan McGivney, a CBRE vice president said in a statement. “The new hospital and medical office building are a testament to the strength of patient demand in Loudoun County, and promise to be a catalyst to unlock additional development.”
HCA Virginia Health System's newest hospital will join Reston Hospital Center, Dominion Hospital and two outpatient surgery centers in serving one of the nation’s fastest growing areas.
StoneSprings Hospital is projected to employ a workforce of more than 500 and pay $2.1 million in local property taxes.
“StoneSprings Hospital Center will not only improve access to care for an underserved portion of the county, it will also become an important part of Loudoun County’s economy and community,” said John Deardorff, president/CEO of Reston Hospital, which also is a member of the HCA Virginia Health System.
The 240,000-square-foot, 124-bed hospital will provide comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, surgical, and diagnostic services.
CBRE’s Ben Powell will collaborate with McGivney in representing HCA.
