MicroTech, a Vienna-based government contractor, has hired a former leader of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as its vice president of strategic relationships.
Jose Nino served as the first president and CEO of the U.S Hispanic Chamber of Commerce from 1990 to 1998.
According to a news release, Nino has more than three decades of international business experience, specializing in foreign market assessments and product distribution in Asian and European markets with a major emphasis in Mexico and South America.
He serves on numerous boards, including the U.S. – Mexico Chamber of Commerce and the Boy Scouts of America (National Executive Committee). Nino also previously served as a Hispanic business advisor to President George H. Bush.
