Mark Hubbard has been promoted to senior vice president at Richmond-based McGuireWoods Consulting.

Hubbard joined the firm as a vice president of strategic communications in 2007.

Hubbard, a former anchor at WWBT-12 in Richmond, focuses his practice primarily on media relations, crisis communications and issue advocacy.

He is a member of the firm’s Virginia state government relations team and serves as the legislative liaison for the Chesterfield County Chamber of Commerce.
