Dale G. Mullen has become a partner of the regulatory and compliance department at McGuireWoods, Richmond.
His practice will focus on environmental regulatory and compliance matters involving water- and waste-related issues, environmental litigation, and government issues affecting the firm’s clients.
Mullen was the county attorney and county administrator for Louisa County, where he managed a staff of more than 200 employees and a budget of $87 million.
Prior to that he served as chief prosecutor and special assistant United States attorney in the Office of the Virginia Attorney General, where he supervised five regional offices of attorneys general and special assistant U.S. attorneys, managed the federal and state prosecutions of non-typical organized crime cases, and developed regulatory compliance systems.
