Codina assumed her post at Alfa Laval on March 1, after serving as senior vice president of the Swedish component manufacturer’s U.S. service and marine divisions.
The London Business School alumna oversees North American operations for Alfa Laval, which credited Codina with streamlining operations, increasing customer satisfaction and creating double-digit growth in her previous three-year gig as senior vice president for its service and marine divisions.
Before joining Alfa Laval in 2019, she worked as managing director in Mexico for Sandvik Coromant, a Swedish maker of manufacturing tools and machining solutions. Before that, she held various positions for Sandvik Coromant in Sweden, the U.K. and the U.S.
ONE THING I’D CHANGE ABOUT VIRGINIA: Very little. I love how Virginia’s welcomed me and my family. Perhaps add bike lanes for my kids to go to school on bike, rather than depending on CO2-emitting transportation.
