Hoff joined Hooker Furniture in 2017. He served consecutive terms as president of the upholstery, case goods and then legacy brands divisions before being named its first nonfamily CEO in 2021, the same year the company rebranded as Hooker Furnishings.
Hoff serves as treasurer for the High Point Market Authority and is a board member of the American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame and the American Home Furnishings Alliance (AHFA). His philanthropic and civic contributions include serving as chairman of the Boys & Girls Club of the Blue Ridge and volunteering with the local United Way chapter.
Before joining Hooker, Hoff was president of Theodore Alexander USA and a senior vice president of A.R.T. Furniture.
The 99-year-old Hooker Furnishings is ranked among the nation’s largest publicly traded furniture corporations and encompasses 14 brands. Its upholstery manufacturing facilities are located throughout Virginia and North Carolina, and the company has showrooms in North Carolina, Atlanta, Las Vegas and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
