MAG Aerospace has moved its headquarters from Sterling to Fairfax. The company is investing $5.5 million in the expansion, which is expected to create 120 jobs.
MAG Aerospace now is located at 12730 Fair Lakes Circle in Fairfax. The company operates more than 200 manned and unmanned special mission aircraft on six continents. It serves federal, international, civilian, and commercial clients. MAG
Aerospace began operations in 2010 and was located in Woodbridge before moving to Sterling.
Gov. Ralph Northam approved a $500,000 grant from the Commonwealth’s Opportunity Fund for the project. The company will be eligible to receive a Major Business Facility Job Tax Credit. Funding and services to support MAG Aerospace’s employee training activities will be provided through the Virginia Jobs Investment Program.
Virginia competed against Alabama and North Carolina for the project.
