Michael Creech has been named director of sales for the recently created data center business at Waynesboro-based Lumos Networks Corp.

Creech will report to Josh Wolff, senior vice president for Lumos Data Centers. Both will be based in Charlotte, N.C.

Creech was a senior consultant at TierPoint, based in Charlotte.

Lumos Networks is a fiber-based service provider in 26 markets in Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio and Kentucky.
