Lumber Liquidators has opened a new store in Midlothian where customers can see a variety of installed floors. The 7,000-square-foot store at 9990 Robious Road brings the Toano-based company’s low-cost, no-middleman flooring approach to northern Chesterfield County, which has been a popular area for residential construction.
“We cut out the middleman and deal directly with the mills, and that allows us to pass the savings on to our customers,” Tom Sullivan, the company’s founder and chairman said in a statement.
Lumber Liquidators offers more than 340 flooring varieties, including laminate, solid hardwood, engineered hardwood, bamboo, cork, vinyl and wood plank. Besides flooring products, the Midlothian store is stocked with molding and trim, underlayments, grills and vents, adhesives and floor-care accessories for do-it-yourselfers and professionals.
The company, North America’s largest specialty retailer of hardwood flooring, has 285 locations.
