LMI announces Lisa Disbrow will be next chair of the board

Lisa Disbrow will be the next chair of the board for Tysons-based government and defense contractor LMI, succeeding Ken Krieg, LMI announced Monday.

Disbrow is currently the audit and finance committee chair, a position she has held since November 2019. She joined the board in 2018.

In 2017, Disbrow retired from her role as Under Secretary of the U.S. Air Force. Disbrow serves on the Wounded Warrior Project and the Air Force Association boards of directors, and she is a senior fellow at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.

Krieg became chair of the board in April 2019, having previously served as chair of the audit and finance committee. During his tenure, The Washington Post ranked LMI No. 1 in the large companies section of its Top Workplaces 2021 list.

“Ken has been an instrumental leader and a critical part of LMI’s ongoing success,” said LMI President and CEO Doug Wagoner said in a statement. “His guidance has driven us toward our vision — powering a future-ready, high-performing government. We look forward to Lisa filling this role to further our mission and values and those of our customers.”

James Sweetnam, a member of the board since 2011, will take Disbrow’s place as the audit and finance committee chair.
