Former Williams Mullen President and CEO Frantz’s legal acumen has earned consistent accolades from peers. He is among a small group of attorneys who have made Virginia Business’ Legal Elite list for 22 consecutive years.
Frantz is a triple graduate of William & Mary, from which he received his law degree, as well as a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in law and taxation. He served on the university’s board of visitors from 2011 to 2019. He’s also a certified public accountant and served as a U.S. Army captain.
Frantz has spent nearly 50 years in law, starting at Clark & Stant, which merged in 1999 with Williams Mullen, which he led from 2010 to 2015. He specializes in corporate and tax law, as well as mergers and acquisitions.
A former King Neptune, Frantz sits on the boards of Millers Energy and DroneUp, a Virginia Beach-based drone business. He also serves on the Hampton Roads Community Foundation board, chairs the GO Virginia Region 5 Regional Council and is co-chair of RVA757 Connects, an economic booster group promoting cooperation between the Richmond and Hampton Roads regions.
