Reston-based Leidos announced Monday it has named James Bahel Vice president of business development for the integrated systems group (ISG). Bahel will replace Mike Stewart, who has been named IGS’ operations manager.
Bahel comes to Leidos from Bethesda, Md.-based Lockheed Martin, where he served as a senior business development representative. At Lockheed, he helped secure over $1.2 billion in new business over a two-year period. Overall, he has more than 35 years of experience in the intelligence community with tours in the military, as a civilian employee, and as a representative of private industry.
In his new role, Bahel will oversee ISG’s business development efforts.
Leidos is a science and technology solutions company that employs 21,000 employees. It reported approximately $5.77 billion in revenues for the fiscal year ended Jan. 31, 2014, after giving effect to the spinoff of its technical services and IT business, Science Applications International Corp.
