JEMB Realty Corp. in New York has selected Jones Lang LaSalle as the leasing agent for the office space at James Center, a 2.5 million-square-foot development with three office buildings in Richmond's central business district.
JLL said that its team of Charlie Polk, Ned Roberts, Jimmy Appich and Stan Manoogian will manage the assignment. The buildings are owned and operated by James Center Property LLC, an affiliate of JEMB Realty.
The three buildings offer 986,000 square feet of Class A office space. Tenant amenities include a fitness center and a 50,000-square-foot retail atrium that connects to the Omni Hotel.
Currently, the building is about 90% leased. Manoogian said a key emphasis for JLL will be filling a big chuck of space when the McGuireWoods law firm vacates 270,000 square feet in the summer of 2015, so it can move to a new headquarters building under construction across from the James Center.
JEMB Realty Corp., a real estate development, investment and management organization based in New York City, owns and operates a portfolio of office, retail and multi-family properties totaling about 8 million square feet.
