Job fairs will be held in February and March as the Colonial Downs racetrack prepares to reopen.
The racetrack, which closed in 2014, will include Rosie’s Gaming Emporium, a casino-like gambling facility.
Colonial Downs ultimately plans to hire about 200 workers in New Kent.
The job fairs will be held from 10 am to 5 pm on Feb. 14 and March 14 at a temporary recruiting office at 10770 Horseman’s Road, about one mile past the track entrance.
Positions will be filled in food and beverage operations, gaming, security, surveillance, accounting, human resources, marketing and maintenance.
