A downtown Norfolk office building has new a firm handling its leasing.
JLL announced on Wednesday it has the leasing assignment for the office property at 500 E. Main St. The 16-story downtown building has 230,316 square feet.
Richmond-based Riverstone Properties LLC bought the property in 2016 for $10.7 million. The company has renovated the office building’s lobby and elevator. Riverstone has made mechanical improvements at the building and plans to create a new lounge.
The office building currently has 100,000 square feet available for lease. The Richmond-based co-working firm Gather has leased 30,000 square feet for its first location in Norfolk.
Other tenants at 500 E. Main St. include BB&T, Hunton Andrews Kurth and the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce.
