Hyatt Hotels Corp. has opened Hyatt Place Charlottesville in the Shops at Stonefield.
The 137-room hotel is located at U.S. 29 and Hydraulic Road.
Hyatt Place Charlottesville features 2,015 square feet of flexible, meeting/function space.
Sara Bishop is general manager of the hotel, and Kico Hedrick is director of sales. It has 40 employees.
The Shops at Stonefield is a 1 million square-foot mixed-use property being developed by EDENS, a company based in Columbia, S.C.
Hyatt Place, a brand of Hyatt Hotels, has more than 170 locations in the United States, Costa Rica and India.
