Historic post office in Staunton sells for $824,000.

Clearway LLC has purchased the historic Staunton Post Office building on West Frederick Street for $824,000. The seller was City Holding Co. The 18,000-square-foot building, built in 1903, formerly served as a bank administration headquarters and is currently occupied by the U.S. Postal Service. It was purchased as an investment, according to Cottonwood Commercial, the real estate firm involved in the transaction. Associate broker Tim Reamer handled the deal.
