McLean-based Hilton Worldwide announced Monday that it has begun a paid parental leave policy for its U.S. employees.
Under the plan, all parents, including fathers and adoptive parents, will receive two weeks of fully paid parental leave.
Mothers who give birth will receive an additional eight weeks of paid leave, providing them with a total of 10 weeks of paid time off.
The policy will cover Hilton’s salaried and hourly employees at its owned and managed properties and in its corporate offices.
In 2015, Hilton announced a GED assistance program to help U.S. employees earn their high school equivalency.
