The Hilb Group LLC, an Henrico County-based insurance and employee benefits broker, has acquired Dover, Del.-based CNC Insurance Associates Inc.
The deal was closed on Oct. 1. Financial details were not disclosed.
CNC is Hilb’s 38th acquisition since it was founded in 2009.
Founded in 1978, CNC provides property and casualty insurance to businesses in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Virginia.
CNC is the Hilb’s first acquisition in Delaware. Kevin Nemith, CNC's managing director, will continue to lead the agency from its existing Dover location.
