A subsidiary of Herndon-based ePlus inc., a provider of technology consulting services, has acquired Virginia Beach-based SLAIT Consulting LLC.
The acquisition closed on Jan. 18. Financial terms were not disclosed.
SLAIT is an IT consulting and solutions provider focused on security advisory and managed services, managed help desk, specialized IT, staffing and data center solutions.
The acquisition expands ePlus’ footprint in the mid-Atlantic, adding SLAIT’s headquarters in Virginia Beach and locations in Richmond and Charlotte, N.C.
The deal also is expected to extend ePlus’ security consulting and managed services capabilities.
