Airline Hydraulics Corp. has acquired Ashland-based Hanover Controls & Supply Corp., an automation and industrial controls distributor.
Jim Smith and Frank Flippo, the company's principals., will keep their roles after the acquisition.
Hanover Controls was launched in 1984 and offers automation engineering and PLC programming services in addition to many electrical, drive, control and safety products.
“[Hanover Control's] automation and electrical control applications expertise and engineering and systems capabilities complement the successful business strategy of Airline Hydraulics, Joseph A. Miceli, CEO of Airline Hydraulics, said in a statement. “This acquisition will strengthen our combined ability to serve customers in Virginia and surrounding regions with enhanced application support to optimize their productivity and safety.”
Airline Hydraulics is based in Bensalem, Pa.
