Hampton Inn by Hilton Suffolk, a new 94-room hotel, has opened at 1017 Centerbrooke Lane in Suffolk.
The city held a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday.
The hotel is located off U.S. Route 58 and the State Route 10/Godwin Boulevard exit. A large lobby offers a variety of seating and lighting options for leisure and business travelers.
Other amenities include free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour business center, a 912-square-foot meeting space that can accommodate up to 75 people, a fitness center and heated indoor pool.
“With Suffolk’s rapid growth in population, tourists and development we have seen an increased need for quality accommodations and meeting space,” Suffolk Mayor Linda T. Johnson, said in a statement.
Hampton Inn by Hilton Suffolk is managed by Shamin Hotels, a company based in Chesterfield County that owns and manages 40 properties in several states. Shamin is the largest hotel management company in Central Virginia.
