Metro Machine Corp., doing business as General Dynamics Nassco-Norfolk, has leased nearly 100,000 square feet of industrial space in Norfolk.
According to Harvey Lindsay Commercial Real Estate, the ship dismantling and repair company has signed for 100,829 square feet of spcae at 200 Legion Street. NASSCO-Norfolk was established in 2012 when Metro Machine Corp. was acquired by NASSCO, a part of General Dynamics Marine Systems. Harvey Lindsay’s Glenn Gibson represented the landlord, Indian River Road Associates, in the negotiations.

Rapid Deployment Systems leased 23,760 square feet of industrial space at 1390 Progress Road in Suffolk. Charles Dickenson handled the lease negotiations.
