Gas executive named to GO Virginia

Virginia Natural Gas president Jim Kibler has been named to the Growth & Opportunity Virginia Council.

GO Virginia is a business-led economic development initiative that focuses on private-sector growth and job creation.

Kibler joined Southern Company Gas in 2005 and was named president of Virginia Natural Gas in 2016.

Kibler will serve as a council member for the region that covers the cities of Chesapeake, Franklin, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Poquoson, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Virginia Beach and Williamsburg; along with the counties of Accomack, Isle of Wight, James City, Northampton, Southampton and York.
