Four named to Colonial Williamsburg Foundation board

The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation has named four new members to its board of trustees.

They are attorney Antonia Hernández,educator Catharine O’Neill Broderick, nonprofit executive Jo Ann Jenkins and technology strategist Mark A. Coblitz.

Hernández is president and CEO of the California Community Foundation.

Broderick is former director of Grosse Point Academy and a former trustee of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund.

Jenkins is CEO of AARP, the world’s largest nonprofit, nonpartisan membership organization and former chief operating officer of the Library of Congress.

Coblitz is a retired senior vice president of strategic planning for Comcast Corp. and is a director and founding partner of social media education company Venly.

Hernández and Broderick, who attended their first meeting in November, occupy seats previously held by Barbara B. Oberg and retired Sen. John D. Rockefeller IV.

Coblitz and Jenkins, elected at November’s meeting, occupy seats previously held by senior trustees Edmond D. Villani and Andrea Mitchell.

Thomas F. Farrell II, the chairman, president and CEO of Dominion Resources, is chairman of the Colonial Williamsburg board of trustees.

The other members of the board are: Richard M. Donnelly, chairman of the board, Oshkosh Corp.; Justice Anthony M. Kennedy, U.S. Supreme Court; Mark J. Kington, managing member, Kington Management LLC; John A. Luke Jr., chairman, WestRock Co.; Forrest E. Mars Jr., director emeritus, Mars Inc.; Judith A. McHale, president and CEO, Cane Investments LLC; Leslie A. Miller, principal, Leslie A. Miller Esq. LLC; Steven L. Miller, chairman and president, SLM Discovery Ventures; Cynthia H. Milligan, dean emeritus of the College of Business Administration-University of Nebraska and president, Wood Stieper Capital Group; Louis W. Moelchert Jr., founder and chairman of Private Advisors LLC; Thurston R. Moore, partner, Hunton & Williams; Thomas K. Norment Jr., Virginia state senator and counsel, Kaufman & Canoles; Joseph Christopher Simmons, retired managing partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP; Sheldon M. Stone, principal and portfolio manager, Oaktree Capital; Y. Ping Sun, university representative, Rice University; Henry C. Wolf, retired vice chairman and CFO, Norfolk Southern Corp.; and Gen. Anthony C. Zinni, USMC (Ret.)
