The former Virginia Resources Authority (VRA) executive director has rejoined McGuireWoods’ Richmond office as a partner. Suzanne Long was VRA’s executive director from March 2012 to January 2014.
For five years before that, she was a lawyer in McGuireWoods’ capital markets and public finance groups.
In her new role, Long will work in McGuireWoods’ corporate practice. She will focus on representing clients in financings and mergers and acquisitions.
Long’s experience includes water and sewer projects, public schools and roads and parking facilities.
Richmond-based McGuireWoods employs 900 lawyers in 19 offices around the world.
