The site of a former Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. store in Fredericksburg was sold for $2.6 million, Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer announced this week.

DWMK LLC purchased the 50,227-square-foot retail store from AEI Income and Growth Fund, 23 LLC. The store closed in January 2017 and has since been vacant.

The building sits on 4.78 acres in the Cosner’s Corner shopping center at 9721 Jefferson Davis Highway. Other tenants include Marshalls, Sport Clips, Hallmark, Panera Bread and several other retail and restaurant businesses.

Jamie Scully and Chris Russotti of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer handled the sale negotiations on behalf of the purchaser. James Ashby IV and Connie Jordan Nielsen, also with Thalhimer, represented the seller.
