Five restaurants have been announced for One Loudoun, a 358-acre master-planned community in Loudoun County.
The restaurants are Family Meal, Uncle Julio’s, Matchbox, Redskins Grille and a new Italian restaurant from chef Robert Wiedmaier.
They are part of the 702,000 square feet of retail space, including shops and restaurants, being developed in the community.
Restaurant owner Bryan Voltaggio is making his debut in Virginia later this year with the second location of Family Meal. The One Loudoun Family Meal location will be larger than the original Frederick, Md., location, and will cover 5,100 square feet.
Family Meal is described as a modern take on comfort food classics. Other restaurants in the Bryan Voltaggio family include VOLT, Range and Aggio.
Uncle Julio’s will have a 10,010-square-foot restaurant offering Mexican food. Scheduled to open in January, it will be the sixth Uncle Julio’s in the Washington metro area.
Matchbox will open a 7,500-square-foot pizza restaurant in summer 2015. It will be the chain’s seventh location nationwide, with others in Washington, Rockville, Md., and Palm Springs, Calif.
The Redskins Grille will open a 8,500-square-foot location in the spring or summer of 2015. It is part of G.R.E.A. T Grille Group, which has four other NFL-themed restaurants in the U.S.
Chef and proprietor Robert Wiedmaier is developing a 6,500-square-foot Italian restaurant, which is scheduled to open in the spring or summer of next year. It is the eighth location for the Robert Wiedmaier Restaurant Group.
In addition to restaurants and shops, One Loudoun is scheduled to include 1,040 homes and 3 million square feet of office space.
