First National Corp., the parent company of First Bank, announced Thursday the launch of “First Mortgage,” a new mortgage division that will be headquartered in Staunton and led by George Ballew.
Ballew has more than 27 years of mortgage lending experience, with nearly 20 years in the Staunton market. He most recently served as a senior vice president and mortgage market manager.
First National Corp. is headquartered in Strasburg. Its bank, First Bank, offers loan, deposit, trust and investment products and services from 10 offices located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
