The Pinkard Group and Principal Real Estate Investors have bought a controlling interest in a 14-story, Class A office building in Alexandria.
They are acquiring the top half Carlyle Overlook, a 251,000-square-foot building located at 2318 Mill Road.
The building is adjacent to the Eisenhower Metro station and the planned Hoffman Town Center mixed-use development.
The development includes views of Old Town Alexandria, the Potomac River and National Harbor.
Carlyle Overlook is the sixth office building acquired by The Pinkard Group in Northern Virginia during the past couple of years.
The Pinkard Group bought the building on behalf of its Pinkard Fund II, a real estate fund focused on investment opportunities in the Washington, D.C., area.
