LeClairRyan on Friday will begin operating the LeClairRyan Legal Solutions Center in Richmond, a project aimed in part at providing clients with legal services at “a lower and more predictable cost.”
The center is a collaborative venture involving the law firm and UnitedLex, a Kansas-based provider of legal and business technology and consulting services.
The project will provide a wide range of support services for the firm’s litigation and transactional practice areas using technology and quality control processes.
“The LeClairRyan Legal Solutions Center is an important part of our strategy to provide clients with insightful and solution-oriented legal support services that have a foundation built on efficiency, predictability and value-based budgeting,” LeClairRyan Chairman Gary LeClair said in a statement.
UnitedLex will assume responsibility for the operations of LeClairRyan’s Discovery Solutions Practice and will provide additional capital.
Founded in Richmond, LeClairRyan has more than 350 lawyers in 22 offices nationwide.
