Deltek has seen a 20% increase in its small business customers since 2020. The company, which has more than 30,000 customers worldwide, makes enterprise software for project-based businesses.

In July, Deltek entered into an agreement to purchase Wisconsin-based quality management software company TIP Technologies Inc. for an undisclosed amount, an acquisition set to close in the third quarter.

Marking his 10th year as CEO, Corkery received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Bonaventure University and an executive leadership development certificate from Georgetown University. He’s on the board of the Northern Virginia Technology Council, which in 2021 named him a top tech executive. He also serves as a corporate executive for Deltek’s parent company, Florida-based Roper Technologies Inc.

He is board treasurer for the American Council of Engineering Companies Research Institute and is part of the President’s Innovation Advisory Council at George Mason University. He’s also been involved with the D.C. Chapter of Conscious Capitalism.
