The path to CEO was a little quicker than Felix expected, she said in an alumni profile by the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. She was promoted to her current job in 2020, just six months after joining ASRC Federal, which has co-headquarters in Reston and Beltsville, Maryland.
ASRC Federal employs 7,835 people nationally, 655 of whom are in Virginia. A federal government services subsidiary of Arctic Slope Regional Corp., an Alaska Native corporation, ASRC Federal is a family of companies providing engineering, information technology and infrastructure support. In February, the company’s space and defense arm won a $225.5 million mission assurance contract from the U.S. Space Force’s Space Systems Command.
A former executive vice president and chief financial officer at Sotera Defense Solutions Inc. and senior executive vice president at Vencore Inc., Felix worked as a senior vice president for SAIC in 2018 before landing at ASRC in 2019 as its chief operating officer.
Felix serves on the board of the Northern Virginia Technology Council and is co-chair of the March of Dimes Heroines of Washington.
