Luxembourg-based Fareva held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday for an expansion of its Henrico County aerosol plant, which is expected to create up to 100 jobs.
The contract-manufacturing firm makes drug, over-the-counter and beauty products at the facility, which it acquired in 2011 from Pfizer.
The expansion follows a first-phase $40 million investment at the plant. The company said it is considering a second expansion at the plant, which would require as much as a $20 million investment and 150 additional jobs.
Fareva employs 600 people in Henrico County and nearly 10,000 people worldwide.
