2022 RVA Career Expo

The Fall 2022 RVA Career Expo will be held Friday, October 21, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen at 2820 Mountain Road, Glen Allen, Va. 23060.

Presented twice a year by the Richmond Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association in partnership with the non-profit Career Prospectors job support group. The mission of the RVA Career Expo is to connect job seekers with thousands of great jobs and internship opportunities at all experience levels.

The RVA Career Expo is free and open to all job seekers. Those wishing to participate must register online at https://richmondhokies.org/careerexpo/  and upload their resume by Thursday, October 20th to receive an admission ticket.

According to Elyssa Mackey, volunteer chair of the event, “Representatives from more than 100 area companies, businesses, educational and training organizations will be on hand at the 2022 RVA Career Expo. Over the past ten years, this event has truly become “Richmond’s Premier Professional Job Fair” with over 10,000 job candidates having participated. There will be thousands of great jobs and internship opportunities available at all experience levels. In fact, the RVA Career Expo has been so successful that it has generated more than $200,000 to fund scholarships for area students who enter Virginia Tech.”

“While the RVA Career Expo is a community-service event of the Richmond Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association, better known as the ‘Richmond Hokies,’ job seekers don’t have to be Virginia Tech grads to take advantage of these opportunities,” Mackey added.
