Elliott Davis LLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting firms in the Southeast, has leased 16,690 square feet at the West Tower of Riverfront Plaza in downtown Richmond.
According to CBRE/Richmond, the CPA firm plans to move from its current address on Westerre Parkway in Henrico County into new space at 901 East Byrd Street in December.
Founded in 1925 and based in Greenville, S.C, Elliott Davis ranks among the Top 50 CPA firms in the United States. It employs 450 professionals in offices in four states, including South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Virginia.
During the next five years, the company plans to recruit more than 35 additional professionals to its Richmond office to serve new and existing clients.
Elliott Davis said in a press release that it is seeking people across all disciplines including niche practices such as international services, which assists foreign companies wanting to invest in the Southeast and U.S.-based businesses interested in making outbound investments.
CPA W. Mark Rudolph leads the Richmond office. Rudolph, who joined the firm in February, is the former managing partner of Virginia-based accounting firm Yount, Hyde and Barbour.
CBRE|Richmond’s Malcolm Randolph and Wood Thornton handled the transaction on behalf of Elliott Davis. CBRE|Richmond Project Management will handle the interior construction of the office.
Riverfront Towers has twin 20-story towers, with about 930,000 square feet of office and retail space and expansive views of the James River.
