Dominion Packaging plans to spend $45 million to open in Henrico County its second manufacturing operation, creating an anticipated 113 new jobs.
The Richmond-based company will add its location near the Richmond International Airport, putting it close to the Port of Richmond, where it can import raw materials needed for its packaging products.
Dominion Packaging provides packaging solutions to the tobacco, fast food restaurant and consumer markets.
Gov. Bob McDonnell approved a $300,000 performance-based grant from the Virginia Investment Partnership program, which is available to existing Virginia companies.
Virginia competed against North Carolina for the investment.
