Accounting firm Dixon Hughes Goodman (DHG) has created two new positions for its Hampton Roads offices.
Caron Crouse will lead the Norfolk and Virginia Beach offices as office managing partner. Joel Flax will serve as the Virginia real estate leader. 
As office managing partner, Crouse will strive to create more efficiency for clients and growth for DHG in Hampton Roads.
Flax will focus on growing DHG’s real estate practice in Virginia. He has served as chair of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants National Real Estate Conference Planning Committee since 2009.
DHG has offices in Newport News, Norfolk and Virginia Beach, as well as others in Virginia. It is the 15th largest certified public accounting firm in the nation, and the largest headquartered in the Southern U.S.
